31 Days of Dread – Day 28

Grandma told me about her first time trick-or-treating. You won’t believe what she did!

She told me egging was expected in her hometown. Residents hated cleaning it up, but they had to get rid of any surplus. Eggs that seemed too big, maybe too colorful, they had to be destroyed. A good Halloween egging was how they indoctrinated the youth into their tireless vigil.

When I asked her what would happen if they hatched…she just started crying.
