So, you can still see the face. Everyone else says it’s gone, but you can see it, right there in the mirror. Scrubbing hasn’t helped; the chemicals sting, but they aren’t removing enough layers. You already know why this isn’t working, your face isn’t stained…your soul is.
But I can fix that. I can burn those marks away. I just need an investment… some skin in the game. Then everyone will know the real you.
