NaNoWriMo Journal – Day 1: Working off the Rust

Current Word Count: 3801

Hello Everyone,

I got a late start to my first day of NaNoWriMo (NaNo), but I still managed to crank out 3801 words which I’m pretty happy with. I haven’t written in a few months at this point so getting into the groove took a while, but the first two chapters were very well outlined which compensated for that. One of the benefits of being a plotter over a pantser I guess.

Tomorrow I have one more scene to add to chapter 2 and then I’m on to Chapter 3. Feel free to message me either here or through the NaNo system if you’re also taking on this challenge. You can use the username search to find me. I’m there under Jacob Marsh with my familiar fishy avatar.

I’d be happy to find some new buddies through this process so let me know if you want to connect.

Thank you for reading, and I’ll be back with another update tomorrow.
